A Cheerful Note

Friends,

An act of kindness might be something small, but being kind isn’t small at all.

This passion project started with a love of writing notes and sending cards. It comes from wanting to serve others and a tug on my heart to do something that just MIGHT make someone not feel alone. If sending hundreds of notes leads to just ONE person feeling the Lord’s love and a stranger’s compassion, it’s invaluable.

Society is changing rapidly. The way we operate our daily lives has dramatically evolved over the past decade and even more so this past year and a half. We were isolated in our homes with nothing to do but dream about the life we wish we could be living as we scrolled endlessly. Now free, how easy it has become to forget about those who can not leave their home or room. I can not imagine how they must feel.

There is a generation full of stories, experiences, a perspective of life that I will never be able to relate to. However, I want them to know that they are not forgotten and that they are all God’s precious children. I want to be the kind word that brightens their day and to know they are loved through the Lord’s mercy and grace.

One simple act of kindness, one moment of your time, one cheerful note.

In Him,
Mary Katherine
